I have used GNU/Linux on and off since 1999. On 2005-11-08 I made Ubuntu 5.10 "Breezy Badger" my primary system. There is no going back.

I had in mind that a sudo will not allow you to redirect things to a "system file" that easily, because only the command in sudo-ed, not the whole pipeline. Or maybe that's only me using a shell that doesn't support it ?
